About Me

Hey, this is Indranil Palit (/ɪnˈdrənɪl ˈpɑːlɪt/)!

I’m a software engineer out of Toronto, Canada! Originally I am from Kolkata, India. Currently I work at Shopify as a SWE intern.

I have a Masters in Computer Science from Dalhousie University, Halifax and a B.Sc (Hons.) degree in CS, from St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata.

During my masters, I have also done some academic research on application of machine learning to software engineering. This resulted in a couple of publications. And no, I don’t want to do PhD! Maybe in some later stage in life I will be drawn back to academics.

I am very passionate about music in general, especially heavy music like progressive metal, hard rock, metalcore, etc. I have been playing guitar on and off for about 5+ years.
